No more messing with your tool belt or pocket, destroying your clip. Then buying a new tape, just to do it all over again.

Holds strong!!! Put one on my belt and the other at the cut station. Attached to stand, so you aren’t running around looking for a tape while cutting.

Great product once you use it a little. Dont pull straight out on it, slide it up or down to separate the magnets and it works great. Product well worth the money.

This is my second time to purchase this type of tape measure holder. The reason I needed a new one was because the belt clip attachment broke. The key to successful use is to make sure you have positioned the magnet on the belt clip properly. If not it can fall off. You must make sure that both magnets on the tape measure is fully connected to the belt clip. Listen for the click. Sometimes a double click when the magnet attaches to the belt clip. This new model does have stronger magnets almost too strong. It does take some getting used too. I love it, a quick draw tape measure. Always handy to use and return to the belt clip.Too bad it's not a stock item in stores. You can't sell from an empty wagon...... If contractor customers don't see them on the shelf they don't know this item is available. This is not going to be an "A" item that you sells dozens everyday but you need to stock some "D" items.

Love this product, this is actually the 2nd one I have bought in 2 years for another tape measure. The only thing I could recommend to improve on the product is, that the back plastic part of the part that attaches to tape measure (the slide in part) tends to crack a ways down and tape measure falls off my belt, so I end up having to screw one screw from the magnet side, between or almost between the magnets through the product into my tape measure. If there was something a little more permanent for it, it would help. Perhaps you could remove the belt clip screw from tape measure and have a screw spot on the product to go through and attach to the original screw location on the tape measure, just a thought. Handy

Very strong magnet and although a bit bulky keeps the tape on even when jumping down. Will hold somewhat even if through a t-shirt. Nice to not have to stop and look where I laid down the measure.

Jury is still out. Seems like a good idea, however, I keep bumping into things and the tape measure promptly dislodges and falls to the floor. Will have to use it a few more times to see if it will work for me.

I wish the magnets were a little stronger.

It’s a good product, saves your pants pocket from getting torn for sure. I just wish the magnet was a bit stronger,so that it could hold with the bigger impacts like jumping off the back of your truck or something of he sort.

Very good idea, it works but add little to much size to my tape measure, but good in general

I use a tape measure regularly while I am volunteering and this makes it so much easier than trying to take it on and off the belt every time perfect size and well-made

I have seen this item in stores probably a hundred times and I've always considered it pretty unnecessary; but once I bought one I have used if very frequently. It is only a slight convenience for most but if you commonly work with metal the magnets can be very useful.

No more wasted time looking for the tape measure in the middle of a project.

Works as intended. I usally jump out of my van and it always falls off the magnets. Easy to take off and put on

It does a decent job, but it tends to fall off too easily. If you hit it on something, it’s likely that your tape is going to take a dive, which can be fatal to some plastic tape measures.

The tape measure often falls off holder when I bump into something or it bumps against something. If I am working and fairly stationary and not squeezing between things it is great. I previously had a leather holder with a snap strap that held the tape in place that lasted about 25 years and I was looking for something that simple that worked and was unable to find one. This is OK but it seems to drop the tape too easily.

PRO: Good magnet

CON: Belt Loop very easy to bend.

WISH THEY WOULD: have a wall plate or pegboard mount

I wish the magnets would hold better the weight of the tape measure, but it keeps my jeans pockets free of tears ;)

clip sags on jean pocket, magnet is average. Tape falls off easy if you move around or up and down. I guess it would work in a weekenders garage, not really what I was hoping for on a commercial job site.

The concept was nice but my Tape was too heavy and kept popping off and onto the ground. It will probably work great with a lighter tape measure.
