The magnet is not safe to keep the knife on site. But the MagnoGrip Quick Snap Slide Open Utility Knife I like it.

I would give the knife portion of the package a 5 star rating. It is not bulky. The feature that I like is that you cannot accidently open the knife. You have to engage a mechanism to open the knife and the same to close it. The belt clip is what lowers the score. The magnet needs to be stronger. I keep knocking the knife off of the holder when it is clipped to my belt. The principle of the design is great: the clip can hold a tape measure or a flashlight (from the same Company).
