Had it for a week.It works great until you lose the metal clip.

The magnet is not strong enough and continuously falls off.

I bought one for each of my brothers and each of my sons, and myself. Finally, a tape measure that is sturdy that doesn't cost too much! And it doesn't retract at 299 mph to destroy your fingers, and has a safety feature. :)

On hand marker!

If you are always looking for a pencil or marker, these are great. The magnet let's you stack them to the clip for your shirt, or to your chop saw/table saw/tile saw, etc. Stick it in your dash, tool box, truck frame....I've got them all over! Very handy if you keep track of them!

I clip this on my shirt collar and I am good to go. No issues with the magnet or pencil slipping.

Pencil falls off the metal plate very easy.

I get multiples at a time as I wear them out, give them away to help people be more efficient, and I often will hang one in an electric room or on a steel door to a tool room when on large sites. Been using them for years!

Would have been 5 stars if it were magnetized on both sides. Only works with one side so about 1/2 the time it doesn’t stick. I still buy them but it would be an easy fix to make it a better product.

It works well and does exactly what it is supposed to do. My problem is that it disconnects from the magnet too easily when I don’t want it to and I have to search for the pencil. I should have bought a non-magnetic model.

Never sesrch for your pencil again, it's always within reach when you need it.

Great device for keeping your pencil close and very easy to use. Became second nature within the first few hours of using it.

I purchased these for all my guys at work. They make having a pencil SO much easier. I wear mine clipped to my shirt neck collar. I have one for my red marker and one for an ink pen too. Just snap one off and replace it with what I need at the time. Handier than a pocket protecter.

Love it, actually do, no lie. it has a good magnet and I use the plate for other stuff that has weaker magnetic power.

Hard to retrain myself to use but I like it.

I like the idea of it, but in use the one with a lanyard is a bit better. I still end up leaving it someplace and I have to hunt it down.

Excellent tool for keeping productivity up. Never search for your pencil again.

This is a must have for a carpenter. You can also use a standard pencil in it.

I was surprised that the pencil holder was permanently attached to the yellow magnetic clip, I thought there was a pull-string and I could leave the clip magnetically attached to my belt and just extend the pencil when I need to use it.

It comes off to easily when rubbed against something

Nice and easy and so far it stays when I have it on and work.

I was skeptical about this at first, but I figured for few dollars it would be worth the gamble. I'm always loosing my pencil, so I bought this to stick to my mobile miter saw stand. After a few weeks it's held on like a champ, and hasn't fallen off once. Not to mention, it's super handy knowing I've always got my pencil there. I liked it so much, I picked up another to stick on my mobile table saw stand. I'd highly recommend this for anyone who travels/moves their tools.
