I remember the time when, I used the magnet grip on my belt to carry my tools around the house. Also, it’s good to secure all loose gear with screws, nails, nuts, and screwdrivers.
A good product that I use for my 'turn by turn' paperwork as a Transit Bus Operator. The product with a powerful magnet stays in place during driving. Recommended as an excellent and fully functional product.
Works well for what the purpose is.
The magnet is very strong. The holder is also very durable. It can also be worn with different size belts.
Great addition to the tool belt, the clip on that back makes quick jobs easy. That being said I would like to see the back clip removable. It quickly digs into your back after long days on the tool belt.

Great for when you don't want to wear a full pouch
The magnet part of it is nearly useless. However, it IS a durable, well constructed hammer holder. Still very pleased with it.
Works perfect with my climbing belt. I use it to carry my 3 pound hammer
I haven’t taken advantage of the magnetic feature yet. It nicely holds my hammer and I’m able to retrieve it without issue.
My only complaint is the magnet area, not as big as it looks, magnets are ok strong.
The magnet is kinda useless because it’s not very strong and it’s also a bit heavy for what it is. I find the extra weight it adds onto my belt unnecessary. I keep a hammer holster on my right hip because I’m right-handed and it’s unlikely that I’d keep my nails barely hanging onto a magnet on my right side as well. If anything, I’d put my nails in a pouch on my left hip. There’s also the possibility of knocking off whatever’s on the magnet whenever I pull out my hammer. The holster has a mesh loop that a 2” belt can easily slide through but there’s also a metal clip if you want to quickly attach it to your pants or belt. That metal clip sort of digs into my hip if I’m crouching or bent over but otherwise it’s tolerable. The outer fabric is fine, it’s like backpack polyester. Overall I think this product would be way better without the magnet and metal clip. It’d probably be cheaper to produce as well. I considered buying the Milwaukee holster but it’s too expensive so I think I’ll just keep using my cheap leather Mcguire-Nicholas hammer holster.
MagnoGrip’s stuff is great. This was a good add to my belt. The magnets turn out to be really useful if you think through using them.
Good hammer holder for the price. I have one for if I am not wearing a toolbelt that can be put on my belt without having to take it off because of the clip style. The one I put on my toolbelt I cut off that clip so it didn't dig into my back. The magnet part doesn't serve much purpose to me but the price was better than nonmagnetic so bought it anyway. Overall good product, I recommend it

I do not use the magnetic feature since I carry it on the back of my tool belt, but it meets all my other needs.

I bought this item because I needed a hammer loop to use by itself. I wish it had a spot for a tape measure to clip on instead of the magnetic portion. Other than that it does what it’s designed to. Maybe HD should carry the old style leather and steel hammer loops again!
one of my favorite tools.
